I am in a slight transitioning phase. From here forward, I will be focusing more on the lives of the Buddha’s great disciples and not so much on the Buddha’s life. For this part, the main book I am looking at is Great Disciples of the Buddha: Their Lives, Their Works, Their Legacy. Already it seems like a wonderful collection, definitely worth reading if you are interested in the history of this practice.
The full information for the book is: Great Disciples of the Buddha: Their Lives, Their Works, Their Legacy, Nyanaponika Thera and Hellmuth Hecker, edited with an introduction by Bhikkhu Bodhi, Boston: Wisdom Publications, 2003.
Oboy!
That’s a really great book! Definitely worth a read.
